What Is The Beaba Babycook?
The Beaba Babycook is an awesome all in one appliance that makes making homemade baby food ridiculously easy!
With the Beaba Babycook you can steam food and then blend it, all in the same machine. Not only that you can also easily reheat food directly out of the freezer, avoiding the need for a microwave completely!
Which we all know annoyingly creates hot spots in food whilst it leaves the other half freezing!

What Do You Get When You Buy The Beaba Babycook?
When you purchase the Beaba Babycook in your box you will get:
- The Beaba Babycook where all the blending and steaming takes place.
- The Beaba Babycook cooking basket. This is where you will place your fruit/veg/meats etc when cooking.
- A Beaba Babycook Recipe Booklet, to give you some great ideas of what foods to get started with.
- The Beaba Babycook Spatula, to help you lift the basket out of the BabyCook once the steam cycle is complete.
What Are The Benefits Of The Beaba Babycook?
Its super simple – Just fill up the “jug” to the water mark line that is required (it tells you how much water you need dependent on the vegetable in the booklet) pour it in the water compartment, pop in the food to be steamed and switch on!
Hands Free Cooking – Switch it on and leave it to do its thing until the food is ready in 15minutes. No standing over a hob, cooking, stirring, checking etc whilst you are trying to keep a hungry baby entertained!
Large Capacity – The Beaba Babycook allows you to cook up to 800ml of food in one sitting, which means you can bulk prepare food to put in the freezer. I did this loads. Great time saver.
Delicious Food Every Time -You know that your fruit/veg etc will be cooked for just the right amount of time, and will be cooked through thoroughly.
Easy To Clean – There are only a couple of parts that need to be cleaned and its easy to dismantle to do so.
Compact Size – Unlike other blenders/steamers the Beaba Babycook is real compact, you could even pack it up and take it on holiday if you wanted to! (I have twice:) )
Looks Great – An appliance like this you will use every day, so its got to look good whilst sat on the work top. The Beaba Babycook doesn’t disappoint in that department with a choice of colors. Sorbet or Gipsy.

Value For Money – The Beaba Babycook will save you so much money if you offset it against how much you would spend buying pre-made baby jars and meals. Making fresh food from scratch will always be cheaper than buying off the shelf where you are paying for all the companies overheads!
Healthy Food That Is Good For Your Baby – This point is the most important in my eyes, which is why I saved it until the end. If you want to make sure your baby has the best start in life, is getting all the nutrients it needs and is eating healthy fresh food then making you own meals from scratch is essential & the Beaba BabyCook is the best product on the market to make that whole process easy and fast. There really is nothing else quite like it.
What Are The Negatives To The Beaba Babycook?
I personally don’t have really have all that many negatives for the Beaba Babycook. If I were to say one thing it would be that there isn’t a “ping” when the food is ready, a couple of times I have been so engrossed with the little one or doing chores that I forgot I had put it on!
There are ways around that though if you are super busy and think you’ll forget, I just put the cooker timer on if I was rushing around and thought it might slip my mind!
There are a number of other reviews that I came across that suggested it wasn’t worth the investment due to the limited amount of time that it will be used, during the “weaning period”.
However I continued to use my Beaba Babycook even when the little man was fully on solids, steaming veg to go with his main meals when he got older etc. In fact I used it for steaming veg for myself too, so there is plenty of use to be had out of the Beaba Babycook.
Is The Beaba BabyCook A Must Have For Parents?
I wouldn’t say the Beaba Babycook is an essential for all parents. However if you want to provide the little ones you love with the healthiest food possible to start them off with in life, and want an appliance to make it easy and simple to do.
Then yes, the Beaba Babycook is quite possibly just what you need! Unlike the babywipe warmer that I really really thought I needed when I became a new mum, the Beaba Babycook is hands down the best gadget that I have purchased as a parent.
Using it day after day, I really got my moneys worth out of it, and I only stopped using it when I was giving the little one smaller versions of my own meals and I lent it to my friend who wanted to “give it a go” and I never got it back! Haha, its still going strong.
