Home Remedies
1. Chamomile tea
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chamomile flowers.
- 1 cup water.
Instructions
- Boil the water and steep the chamomile flowers in it for 15 minutes. Drink ½ cup up to 5 times a day if you suffer from digestive problems. You can use this tea topically for any skin problem, infection or inflammation.
- For nervous conditions, you can combine chamomile with equal parts of passionflower or oats.
2. Chamomile bath for eczema, bug bites, or diaper rash (children)
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoon chamomile flowers.
- ½ cup oatmeal.
- 1 knee-high stocking.
Instructions
- Put the chamomile the oatmeal in a knee-high stocking.
- Tie the open end of the stocking with a rubber band.
- Place the filled stocking under the spigot and fill the tub.
- Bath your children as usual. Remove the herb-filled stocking before letting the water down the drain.
